Increase in statutory rates and limits on tribunal awards 2024
April sees the increase to the National living and minimum wage rates, minimum rates for agricultural workers, statutory redundancy pay, statutory payments including SSP and limits on tribunal awards.

Accommodation Rate:
For all workers commencing work in agriculture for the first time from 6 April 2009 a house or other accommodation provided by an employer, including any garden provided with it, may, with the consent of the worker, be reckoned as payment of wages in lieu of payment in cash to a maximum value of £51.27 per week.
