No 100 The Employment Rights (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 (Application of Articles 107A, 107B, 107G, 107I, 112A and 112B to Parental Order Cases) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015
These Regulations come into operation on 15/3/15 and they apply to and modify existing powers in the 1996 Employment Rights (NI) Order to allow the making of regulations to give an employee who meets the eligibility criteria entitlement to statutory adoption leave, paternity leave and shared parental leave if that employee has a child born with the help of a surrogate and the employee is a parental order parent.
No 27 The Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014
On 14/4/14 this Order comes into operation and amongst other things it amends the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1979 (“the 1979 Order”)
Warnings and other disciplinary action
Warnings in the workplace should be part of a disciplinary process and they should be designed to allow employees to change a particular behaviour within a given timeframe. They should be given as quickly as possible after the behaviour occurs. Any sanctions should be proportionate to the alleged offence.
No. 571 (C. 39) The Employment Relations (2004 Order) (Commencement No.4 and Transitional Provisions) Order (Northern Ireland) 2005
This is the final implementation order for the Employment Relations (NI) Order 2004 and essentially it brings into effect, as of 8/1/06 the remaining matters not implemented by the previous three commencement orders.

This order brings into operation all the provisions of the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998, apart from Articles 80, 96 and 98.
No 317 The Work and Families (Increase of Maximum Amount) Order (Northern Ireland) 2009
This Order comes into effect on 1/10/09 and has the main purpose of increasing the maximum weekly amount used for the purposes of calculating certain awards by the Industrial Tribunal from £350 to £380. This is commonly referred to as the “capped weeks pay” for the purposes of unfair dismissal and redundancy pay calculations.
