This Order comes into operation on 1/1/12 and essentially provides for complaints under Regulation 51 of the Companies (Cross-Border Mergers) Regulations 2007 to be covered as a jurisdiction to which the new Labour Relations Agency Code of Practice on Discipline and Grievance will apply.

386 Working Time Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998
The Regulations implement a European Directive relevant to working time which cover an array of matters including the following: maximum average weekly working time, average normal hours of night workers, health assessments for night workers, rest breaks, records, weekly rest, paid annual leave, exemptions, right to take a claim to Industrial Tribunals and so on.
Maternity, Paternity and Parental leave
Pregnant employees are entitled to up to one year’s maternity leave. Paternity leave is available if certain criteria are met. Parents are also entitled to 18 weeks’ unpaid leave for each child up to their 18th birthday.

These Regulations come into force on 1/4/16 and effectively they are the vehicle for the introduction of the “National Living Wage” for those workers aged 25 and over.
No 465 The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations 2017
These Regulations amend the National Minimum Wage Regulations 2015 and come into force on 1st April 2017. The new April date replaces the old October 1 date from now on.
