No 1088 The Transnational Information and Consultation of Employees (Amendment) Regulations 2010

These Regulations were laid before Parliament on 6/4/10 and come into operation on 5/6/11 and essentially they amend the 1999 Regulations which made provision for the establishment of European Works Councils for organisations that met the requisite criteria in terms of size and presence for Community-scale undertakings. 

The Industrial Tribunals (1996 Order) (Application of Conciliation Provisions) Order (Northern Ireland) 2020

This Order amends Article 20(1) of the Industrial Tribunals (Northern Ireland) Order 1996. Article 20(1) lists the proceedings which are “relevant proceedings” for the purposes of Early Conciliation and other conciliation services provided by the Labour Relations Agency. The amendments made by this Order update the list of jurisdictions in Article 20(1).

No 318 Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2012

The Order comes into operation on 10 September 2012 with Article 2 of the 1979 Order providing exceptions to article 5(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Northern Ireland) Order 1978 (“the 1978 Order”) (questions which relate to spent convictions). 

No. 183 Regulations of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002

This Order makes amendments to the Act of the same name (2000) by including NI public authorities to Schedule 1 and the impact on officers of such authorities.

No 174 The Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014

This Order comes into operation on 1/8/14 and amends the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1979.

No 494 The Transfer of Undertakings and Service Provision Change (Protection of Employment) (Consequential Amendments etc) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007

These Regulations, as of 30/12/07, make amendments to the 2006 TUPE Regulations and the 2006 Service Provision Change Regulations (NI only) purely in terms of references to the above Regulations which exist in other Orders in Council and Regulations, for example, the ICE (NI) Regulations 2005 and the Pensions (NI) Order 2005.

No.100 The Fair Employment Tribunal (Remedies) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2007

This order amends the 1995 Order of the same name by clarifying that awards calculated by the Tribunal on which interest is calculated does not include an award in respect of costs, allowances of preparation time. The Order also stipulates the Tribunals’ power to deal with complaints of harassment in this context.
