No. 297 The Additional Paternity Leave Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010
These Statutory Rules introduce Additional Paternity Leave and Pay, giving eligible employees (usually fathers) a right to take up to six months’ leave from their employment to care for a child, if the child’s mother or (in the case of adoptions) the primary adopter returns to work without exercising their full entitlement to maternity leave.

These Regulations amend the 1999 Regulations as of 1/10/09. The regulations amend the NMW rates which now stand at - £5.80 for the principal rate (22 years old +), £4.83 for the 18-21 yr old rate and £3.57 for those who are between compulsory school leaving age and 18.
The Statutory Sick Pay (General) (Coronavirus Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020
The Statutory Sick Pay (General) (Coronavirus Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 amend regulation 2(1) to provide that a person who is isolating himself from others in accordance with advice on coronavirus disease effective on 12th March 2020 is deemed to be incapable of work. These Regulations amend that date to 16th March 2020.

These rules allow for any party to be represented by counsel or solicitor in proceedings before the Industrial Court arising from the legislative provisions listed in the Schedule, that is: the ICE Regulations 2005, the Transnational ICE Regulations 1999, the European Public Limited Liability Company Regulations 2004, and the European Cooperative Society (Involvement of Employees) Regulations 2006.
No 224 The Trade Union Ballot and Elections ( Independent Scrutineer Qualifications) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017
These Rules come into operation on 17/12/17 and relate to Articles 15, 49, 77 and 106 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 which requires certain ballots and elections that trade unions are required to hold by statute to be supervised by a qualified independent person, known as a “scrutineer”, appointed by the trade union.
